If you want further information on that topic or on a particular document or agency, there may be a link embedded with the text. In pages with a white background links are identified by a blue colour. When you run your mouse over these links your curser will change to a hand symbol. Just click on the link and it will take you to the relevant information, document or department web page.

An exception to this rule is the footer of each page, where the links to our legal information and contact officer e-mail is displayed in black text with a ble background.

This site has been developed to ensure its content is available to the widest possible audience, including readers using assistive technology or accessibility features. By adhering to guidelines for accessible web design, we acknowledge the diversity of communication methods, available technologies and abilities of web-users in the community. Content pages

HTML versions are provided for most of the PDF files on the site. For those PDF that do not have HTML equivalents, summaries are becoming available. If you require a Word version of a PDF, please contact the SWAHS Web Development Team (webteam@wsahs.nsw.gov.au). Please see section below for options on converting PDF files to more accessible formats and visit the Adobe website for more information on Acrobat accessibility.


Converting PDF files

The Adobe website provides a service to convert PDF files to HTML via an online form.
The Adobe website and the Trace Research Centre provide services to convert Acrobat PDF files to plain text or HTML via email.

Can't download a file?
If you are having  trouble opening or downloading any documents, please email SWAHS Web Development webteam@wsahs.nsw.gov.au with details of any problems that you are experiencing, and the title of the documents you were attempting to download. We will endeavour to forward the documents to you via email.

Installing Acrobat Reader 

You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view some of the documents on this site. You can visit the Adobe internet site to download the software. Follow the icon links and instructions at this site on how to download and install the Acrobat software to your system. 


Using Acrobat Reader

After installing Acrobat Reader, double-click a PDF file to automatically start Acrobat Reader and view the file. Or you can start Acrobat Reader first, then choose File --> Open to open and view a PDF file.
