How to Help…

As Volunteers

Lottie Stewart relies heavily on volunteers to complement the care of professional staff. Volunteers have been part of the fabric of the hospital since it was founded in 1948.

The Volunteers are part of an active group of supporters committed to making a contribution to a hospital that is fast establishing itself as a leader in the areas in which it specialises.

By joining the Volunteer Service of the hospital, you can choose from a range of activities, all of which make a real difference to the lives of the patients and their families.

From taking part in day trips, canteen help, gardening, personal care, musical events, general office assistance and many other contributions, volunteers know that they are part of the life of the hospital and the community of care which it represents.

For more information call the Volunteers Co-ordinator on 9804-5843 (Mon, Wed & Fri)
