Huntington's Disease Unit

This is the only specialised inpatient unit in NSW for people with Huntington Disease who may need to be in hospital for varying lengths of time for different reasons.

Help may be needed for troublesome changes or to give carers a break. Seventeen beds are available; fifteen long-term and two respite. Every effort is made to give individual care in a home-like environment.

A range of Nursing and Allied Health Services is available. Pastoral Care is also available. Telephone support and advice can be given to those with HD, their families and to the general public.
