PHILOSOPHY
“Quality Care in a Christian Environment”
Being a caring ministry of Wesley Mission, part of the Uniting Church in Australia, and a Unit of the Sydney West Area Health Service, we adhere to the values and acknowledge responsibilities inherent in these associations.
We affirm that:
- Our caring ministry of word and action is inspired by the model and example of Jesus Christ.
- All persons are created in the likeness of God and are worthy of dignity and respect.
- All persons have a right, without discrimination, to care and support appropriate to their needs.
- All persons have the right to express their individuality and participate where possible in decisions affecting their personal treatment and care.
- Opportunities for personal growth and development should be available to all staff.
MISSION
“Special Care for Special Needs”
To be the pre-eminent provider of rehabilitation services and extended nursing home care which optimises the quality of life of our clients.
These services are delivered by motivated, capable staff providing quality inpatient, outpatient and outreach services.
We are dedicated to providing holistic care, in partnership with all concerned, which acknowledges and addresses the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of those we serve.
VISION
“More than just Care”
We will be recognised for our leadership in humanitarian care for those with special needs, in which support is provided through the continuum of care and recognises the needs of the whole person.
The provision of this care will be supported by the creation of an environment which:
- Recognises diversity, motivates and empowers staff to achieve excellence.
- Acknowledges the contribution of our people and shares and rewards success.
- Obligates us to continually improve services and to strive for best practice.
- Ensures adequacy of resources.
