Adolescent Ambulatory Care Center

All patients attending the Adolescent Ambulatory Care Center have complex biopsychosocial problems that require the ongoing services of a specialist multidisciplinary Adolescent Team.

A doctor’s referral to the Adolescent Ambulatory Care Center is necessary.

The Department of Adolescent Medicine hosts five outpatient clinics (sessions) per week and consults on average 120 - 140 young people and their families per month.

Please note the Adolescent Ambulatory Care Center does not provide an emergency service and waiting times for new referrals generally vary between three and six weeks.
