Sydney West Area Health Service provides public oral health services from Auburn to Lithgow in an intergrated clinical network of nine community dental clinics and one tertiary centre, the Westmead Centre for Oral Health.

The Westmead Centre for Oral Health is a leading oral health teaching hospital providing an extensive range of comprehensive and specialist dental treatment, and is one of two clinical schools for the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Sydney.

The Westmead Centre for Oral Health is well known and respected for its excellence in the provision of oral health care, clinical education, and dental research.

The individual dental clinics which are part of Sydney West Area Health Service Oral Health Network, play a vital role in delivering oral health care to their local eligible populations. The information on these clinics, each of which has a slightly different range of services, can be accessed through the links on the right side of this page.

I am proud to say that Sydney West Area Health Service is leading the way in oral health care through the efforts of our dedicated employees, from our world recognised specialists and clinicians to our brilliant team of dental assistants, technicians, nurses, clerical, administrative and research staff.

I trust the information within will assist you in your desire to find out more about how to access our services, training and employment opportunities.
