Selected Demographic Profile of the Indigenous Population in Sydney West Area Health Service, Census 2001
This report supplements the Indigenous demographic and socio-economic factors: WSAHS 2004 profile, to add information on LGAs of Greater Lithgow and those in the former WAHS. It provides an overall description for the newly defined SWAHS and should be read in conjunction with the previous report. The information was obtained from the 2001 ABS Census data in Indigenous Persons Profiles from C-Data. AHS boundaries were defined by LGA boundaries. Indigenous and non-Indigenous persons were self-identified and persons not answering the Census question on indigenous status were not included in the analyses.
