Imaging
MISSION & PURPOSE STATEMENT
- To promote excellence in research and teaching in Imaging at SWAHS, CHS and at the University of Sydney.
- To form partnerships with other research groups both nationally and internationally and perform peer reviewed independent and, or collaborative imaging research (including with industry groups).
- To form partnerships with clinical groups, to translate fundamental discoveries in imaging into research applications for specific diseases, disorders, or biological processes.
- To understand and research by imaging the disease processes that affects the population of Western Sydney and the state of NSW.
- To develop and validate imaging techniques.
Strategic Alliance
- Research is recognised as an important key result area for the Division of Imaging and is crucial to the fulfillment of the Division’s mission.
- CBIRD will encorporate appropriate strategic alliances in the pursuit of it's mission.These alliances will be aimed at the implementation of new initiatives as well as adding value to already existing programs.
