Library Services
A network of Sydney West Area Health Service (SWAHS) libraries has been formed which includes the libraries of Auburn Hospital, Blacktown-Mt.Druitt Health, Western Sydney Area Mental Health Service, St. Joseph’s Hospital, NSW Transcultural Mental Health Centre and Westmead Hospital. It also includes the collection of the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
The mission statement of the Area libraries is to work together to develop a comprehensive and current network of information that is readily available to health professionals in the SWAHS to assist them in the provision of high quality patient care, teaching and research.
