Westmead Hospital-AMA Library serves Westmead Hospital and Community Health Services, which is a major public hospital in the western suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and which is also a teaching Hospital of the University of Sydney.
Most of the holdings of the erstwhile Australian Medical Association (New South Wales Branch) Library were moved to Westmead in 1978 and formed the core of the new Library's collection, hence the Library's official name.
