Rehabilitation Medicine Registrar

Nepean Hospital

The Department has an 18-bed inpatient unit with a busy consultation service and outpatient service. The clinical focus is on neurological, neurosurgical, amputee, geriatric and complex medical rehabilitation. The positions are well supported by JRMO and consultants.

The registrar positions are accredited for training toward the Fellowship of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (RACP). It offers excellent experience in general rehabilitation. There is a robust teaching program for examination preparation. The registrars will participate in clinical teaching, research and quality improvement activities of the Department.

Applicants wishing to job share or work on a part time basis will be considered.

Essential Criteria:

Eligible for registration with NSW Medical Board
Minimum two (2) years postgraduate experience

Desirable Criteria:

Preference will be given to applicants with a commitment for vocational training in Rehabilitation Medicine
