Haematology Advanced Trainee
Westmead Hospital
The positions are for either Pathology Trainees or combined Physician/Pathology Trainees – the latter being preferred. The Unit offers training in all aspect of Clinical and Laboratory Haematology. The clinical service includes a large Bone Marrow Transplantation Service with autologous, and related and unrelated transplants being performed – in total over 80/year. The Laboratory Unit includes basic haematology and morphology, immunophenotyping, bone marrow storage and testing and molecular biology. Research projects are encouraged. Positions also exist for Haematology Laboratory Advanced Trainee.
Essential Criteria:

Eligible for registration with NSW Medical Board
- Entrance level qualifications for FRCPA or dual FRCPA/FRACP
- Minimum of two (2) years postgraduate clinical experience

- FRACP Part 1
