Springwood Hospital was opened as a community based hospital in 1976. The hospital is used for day surgery, palliative care, rehabilitation and transitional care type patients. Springwood hospital has 32 beds available, six of which have been designated as day only beds.
Nursing Services:
- Springwood Hospital employs a mixture of Registered and Enrolled Nurses. Nursing staff are given the opportunity to work with the diverse range of patients that are admitted to the facility.
Staff Benefits:

- There is also a New Graduate program for Registered Nurses, this is run in conjunction with Blue Mountains District Anzac Memorial Hospital.
- Staff are orientated to the facility and mentored by the Clinical Nurse Specialist.
