BRAIN INJURY SUPPORT GROUP
This group meets monthly providing support, information and the opportunity to share experiences for people with an acquired brain injury, their families and friends.
The aim of the Group is to provide:
- opportunities to talk about brain injury and its effects
- support for one another
- opportunities for social interaction
- education on community and advocacy services
- group support for realistic future plans
- opportunities to talk about role and lifestyle changes
- opportunities for social activities.
Meetings held: 1st Wednesday of the month.
Time: 11.00am to 1.00pm
Venue: St Joseph ’s Hospital Normanby Road, Auburn, NSW 2114.
