Occupational Therapy
The Occupational Therapist is able:
- to retrain or teach the person how to perform their daily activities;
- to teach new ways to perform the activity e.g. one handed dressing techniques;
- to recommend or prescribe adapted environment;
- to recommend or organize home modifications e.g. ramp for wheelchair access;
- to assess and retrain the component skills that enable tasks to be carried out e.g. upper limb retraining, memory retraining.
