The Volunteers of St. Joseph's Hospital work together in a caring environment to assist in providing quality of care to all patients while recognising cultural differences and maintaining human dignity.
The Volunteer Services Department of St Joseph’s Hospital exists to:
- Assist management to provide quality of care to patients.
- Provide practical assistance to professional staff in promoting patient well being.
- Give quality time emotional support and physical comfort to patients, their relatives and friends.
- Liaise with professional staff in providing social activities for patients
